When your water heater begins to leak or just quits making hot water you have to decide between a lot of different plumbers and heating companies who service hot water heaters.  Some charge a $30-$50 fee just for a bid, others give you a base price and then charge a whole bunch extra for items that should not be extras. You can spend alot of time calling all the different companies trying to get an honest price.
